A video, which quickly went viral, shows a woman dancing and posing in a crowded Mumbai local train. In the footage, the woman wears a school uniform, striking poses as co-passengers look on silently, seemingly unfazed. The video also features her posing at a railway station, adding to the discomfort for many viewers.

The video was first shared on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter by the handle '@WokePandemic.' The post was captioned, "Thank you, Indian Railways, for having pole dancing in trains for the entertainment of passengers."

Since its release, the video has accumulated over 6,19,000 views, but not all the attention has been positive. While some were unimpressed by the inappropriate setting, others took to the comment section to voice their concerns.

One user sarcastically remarked, "Finally, the shackles of patriarchy have been broken and modern Indian women have been freed to become what they always wanted to become...the sluttiest sluts of the world." Another suggested, "Great initiative to attract more passengers to use public transport. It will help in decreasing air pollution. Political parties should include this facility in their manifesto."

Several others criticized the woman's behaviour, with one user expressing, "They have no respect for themselves. They just wanna objectify themselves for money." Another commented, "Wow! What nice Samskaras she has... only thing is that she is wearing too many clothes." Some even questioned the effectiveness of the stunt, saying, "Is there a better way to encourage the use of public transportation? I think not."
